Day 7: San Antonio

Everyone is quite pleased with the hotel I booked. Riverwalk views and every room is a suite with two beds AND a sectional couch in the living room. We are excited to have some space! I appreciate that they had an educator discount. Way to go Hotel Contessa!
And your rooftop pool? Well it's amazing. After a two mile run on the treadmill in the gym, Emily and I hit the pool as fast as we could. This humidity is NO joke.
The loungers certainly made these girlies feel like queens. 👍

Dinner was a hit and a miss. Todd's lamb tacos and Emily's grilled cheese were eh, but my steak salad, grandma's burger, and the twin's ribeye was awesome. A mixture of tastes from that restaurant. We haven't learned that they like to fry everything here, and if it ain't fried, it's been pickled. The pickle fries were okay and the deviled eggs were a 👎 from everyone. So, we probably wouldn't eat at The Esquire again.
We enjoyed a short leisurely walk on the Riverwalk right outside our hotel (more time for exploring tomorrow). It is pretty magical and we stopped to snap a few pictures.
We'll get some pics of this kiddos tomorrow. We wrapped up the evening with ice cream and now a viewing of the Warriors! Another busy day, and we are preparing for Emily's birthday tomorrow. It's he big 1-3!
