We checked out downtown Goshen and found a lovely courthouse.
There's even an old police booth that was built in the late 1930's to protect the banks from robber John Dillinger. You can read more about it here. http://lincolnhighwaygoshen.blogspot.com/2008/12/goshen-police-booth.html?m=1
Isn't history fascinating?
After strolling through Main Street and checking out the local antique shops, we hung with family and BBQ'd burgers. Emily made what Aunt Kathy called scalloped tomatoes but to us it seemed like a reconstructed bruschetta.
It tasted great! The kids had fun with their cousins and of course played video games. This is how cousins play these days. No more hide 'n seek in the dark like we used to play. They had fun and got to know their cousins better. Sweet times.
