We started the day with lunch at a kid's dream restaurant. Gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches at...
It was good! Since it was Father's Day Todd got to pick the restaurant and when I mentioned this place he immediately said yes! He got his favorite, classic grilled cheese with tomato soup. This place was awesome!
Sadly, after this we had to drop him off at the New Orleans airport and ship him back to Sac to work for the week. He will join us again in Chicago soon.
We began our 380 mile jaunt to Memphis we came through Mississippi which apparently is the birthplace of America's music. Who knew?
We didn't do much inMississippi except stop for gas and Baskin Robins. Two necessities while on a road trip.
And this great state of Mississippi. This is what I looked at for about 5 hours while driving.... Very green, and very tall trees.
And if you didn't know already, Memphis Tennessee is just barely over the border from Mississippi. We finally made it this evening!
Had dinner at hotel and believe it or not, it was killer. Shrimp Casaer salad, chicken Caesar salad, chicken strips and we are happy campers. Tomorrow is Graceland!
